Another dubious string to my metaphorical bow is an inclination to be a grammatical pedant, particularly when it comes to apostrophes (or should that be apostrophe's?) being put in the wrong place.
I will confess to the odd occasional error of my own but we grammatical sticklers are generally a forgiving bunch when it comes to genuine mistakes.
What rapidly raises our temperature is the careless breaking of all those wonderful grammatical rules that we ourselves love to live by.
Imposterophe is the name I coined for all those interloping apostrophes that pop up in places in which they have no right to be.
Should you be of the same pedantic persuasion as me then you can follow @imposterophe on Twitter and vent your ire by tweeting examples of the irritating fellow in action.
